As a residence hall staff member, you have unique insight into your students' day-to-day lives and are often the first to notice a change in their behavior. If you are concerned that a student is struggling with their mental health, Campus Mind Works can help.

Ways to support your students

Share this resource with your residents

The Campus Mind Works program offers digital resources, wellness groups, tools, and worksheets to support students. Our website provides tips to help them stay healthy, manage stress and use on-campus mental health services. We also have experts available to bring education to your residence hall.

Our program includes:

Encourage students to attend wellness groups

Our wellness groups provide free drop-in education and support. Meetings take place on both the north and central campuses. A licensed clinician leads each session, which includes a short presentation and discussion. Lunch is provided. Registration is recommended, but not required. For those who cannot attend in person, asynchronous presentations are available. For a list of dates and topics, visit the wellness groups page.

Bring Campus Mind Works to your hall

We are available to give presentations to your students about managing stress, staying healthy and improving mental well-being. A licensed clinician will give a presentation and cover a specific topic.

Possible topics include:

  • Managing stress
  • Recognizing depression and anxiety
  • Impostor syndrome
  • Supporting those struggling
